This Wuthering Heights dance AI video prompt makes a fan tribute to the famous Kate Bush video. A barefoot woman with long red hair dances alone on a grey, windy moor. She wears a flowing red chiffon dress. Her arms move in wide, slow arcs, she reaches at the camera with curled fingers, spins, and bends down to the grass.
The video is 20 seconds and has five shots: wide, low angle, side, close-up and wide again. The cuts sit on the beats of the song, so it plays like a real music video. Seedance makes the picture with wind and fabric sounds only. We added the song later in an editor, starting from 0:42 of the track.
You need two prompts. The first makes a character sheet of you in the red dress. The second makes the video.
The whole process
- Pick one clear photo of your face, in good light.
- Make a character sheet of you in the red dress with the first prompt below.
- Open ImagineArt, go to video and pick Seedance 2.5.
- Add the character sheet as the only reference image.
- Set 20 seconds and 9:16. Paste the video prompt and generate.
- Put the song under the video in your editor, from 0:42.
What happens in 20 seconds
| Time | Shot | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3.5s | Wide, from the front | Her arm reaches to the side, sweeps across her body, then both arms float up |
| 3.5–7s | Waist up, from below | Her arms open up and back. Then she leans at the camera with curled, claw-like fingers |
| 7–11.5s | Wide, from the side | She spins once, the skirt flares. One arm rises to the sky |
| 11.5–15s | Close-up | Her hands frame her face, then wrap across her chest. Wind in her hair |
| 15–20s | Wide, from the front | She bends down to the grass, rises and opens her arms wide |
Make the character sheet
The dress, the hair and the face must stay the same in all five shots. One photo does not show the model the dress from the back or the side. So first make a sheet: you in the dress from every side, plus close-ups.
Add your photo to Nano Banana Pro in ImagineArt+200 free credits. Set the shape to 16:9 and paste this prompt. Your face comes from the photo. The hair and the dress are written in the prompt, so change those words if you want a different look.
Character reference sheet of the exact same person as in Image 1. Keep her face, facial proportions, eye shape and colour, eyebrows, nose, lips, skin tone, freckles and age exactly as in the photo. Do not beautify or redesign the face. Real skin with pores and natural texture, photoreal, not a painting or a 3D render.
Hair: very long, loose, wavy hair with a dark red root fading to bright copper-orange ends, natural flyaways.
Outfit: a long 1970s romantic red chiffon dress, floor length, with sheer balloon sleeves gathered at the wrist, a ruffled deep V-neck, a fitted bodice, a thin dark belt and a full, layered, floaty skirt with a ruffled hem. Barefoot.
Layout on a 16:9 canvas, dark charcoal background with thin gutters: Top row: a large head-and-shoulders close-up on the left, then five full-body views: front, three-quarter, side, back, three-quarter from the other side. The full-body views stand on a grey, windy moorland with dark hills and an overcast sky. Bottom row: six small face close-ups with different expressions (neutral, soft smile, serious, looking away, playful, soft laugh) and four detail close-ups (neckline, sleeve, fabric, hair).
Same person, same hair and same dress in every panel. Soft overcast daylight, muted colours with the red dress as the strongest colour. Short white labels under the panels only, no other text.

This is the prompt that made the video above, word for word. It describes the red-copper hair and the red dress. If your sheet looks different, change only those words in the Reference block.
[LOOK — LOCKED, APPLIES TO EVERY SHOT] Shot on ARRI Alexa 35 with Cooke S4/i primes: warm natural skin, soft background falloff, her body always sharp. Fine 35mm-style grain, soft rolled-off highlights in the grey sky, gentle black level, medium-low contrast. Natural motion blur on her moving arms, hair and fabric. Grade: saturated crimson dress as the hero colour, desaturated olive-brown moorland, slate-blue hills, cool shadows. Overcast diffused daylight, no sun, no light changes between shots.
[ENVIRONMENT — LOCKED, ONE LOCATION IN EVERY SHOT] A flat, open moorland hilltop. Foreground: short dry olive-brown grass with a few low grey lichen rocks. Middle distance: rolling dark-green and brown hills. Far background: misty slate-blue mountains under a heavy flat grey overcast sky. Steady wind from frame left. Every shot is the same place at the same moment: same grass, rocks, hills, sky and light; only the camera position changes.
[REFERENCE] @Image1 defines the woman: her face, freckles, long wavy copper-to-red ombré hair, and the long red chiffon dress with sheer balloon sleeves, ruffled V-neck and thin dark belt. Use only her identity, hair and dress. Do not use the sheet layout, text, colour swatches, backgrounds or multiple views — there is exactly one woman in the video.
[GENERATION GOAL] A 20-second music-video edit of five shots joined by hard cuts, real-time speed. A barefoot woman in a flowing red dress dances an expressive, theatrical 1970s interpretive dance alone on the moorland hilltop. The dance is one continuous performance across the cuts: about eleven movements, each around two seconds, blending straight into the next with no pauses. She is already moving in the first frame. The pace is lively but unhurried, like a dancer moving through water — arms travel in wide, curved arcs from the shoulder to the fingertips, the torso and head follow the arms. She never freezes in a pose and never jerks or jumps. Her body sways with a steady, even rhythm at 123 beats per minute. Hair and chiffon keep flowing after every movement. Wide eyes, intense gaze, expressive mime-like hands. Inside each shot the camera is locked off and does not move.
[SHOT 1 — 0 to 3.4 seconds — wide, frontal] Camera: wide full-body shot from the front, tripod at hip height, horizon one third up from the bottom. Initial state: she stands centre frame, arms at her sides, already starting to move. Primary event: three flowing gestures: her right arm reaches out to the side and her head follows it; the arm keeps travelling in a wide arc across her body as her torso twists; both arms float up overhead with soft, curling wrists. End state: arms raised overhead, face lifted.
[SHOT 2 — 3.4 to 7.3 seconds — medium, low angle] At 3.4 seconds, hard cut. Camera: medium shot from the waist up, slightly low angle looking up at her against the grey sky. Continue from the previous shot: same woman, same dress, same moment of the dance. Primary event: her arms burst open up and back in one big arc, chest lifting, head tilting back; then without stopping she melts forward toward the lens, hands drifting at the camera with curled, claw-like fingers while her eyes find the lens. End state: leaning toward the camera, hands reaching out, eyes on the lens.
[SHOT 3 — 7.3 to 11.2 seconds — wide, three-quarter] At 7.3 seconds, hard cut. Camera: wide full-body shot from a three-quarter angle on frame left, tripod at hip height, the hills and mountains behind her. Continue from the previous shot: same woman, same dress, same spot on the hilltop. Primary event: she spins one full turn on the spot with arms spread wide, the red chiffon skirt flaring and her hair streaming; as the turn finishes one arm floats up high and her face lifts to the sky. End state: one arm raised high, skirt still swirling around her legs.
[SHOT 4 — 11.2 to 15.1 seconds — close-up] At 11.2 seconds, hard cut. Camera: close-up of her face, shoulders and hands, static. Continue from the previous shot: same face, freckles, hair and dress. Primary event: both hands glide up to frame her face with spread fingers, wide eyes looking past the lens; then the hands wrap across her chest in an embrace as her head tilts and the wind pulls her hair across the frame. End state: arms wrapped across her chest, chin lifting, hair blowing.
[SHOT 5 — 15.1 to 20 seconds — wide, frontal] At 15.1 seconds, hard cut back to the opening angle. Camera: the same wide frontal full-body framing as Shot 1. Continue from the previous shot: same woman, same dress, same spot, same landscape. Primary event: her arms sweep down in a long curve as she bends deeply forward, fingertips brushing over the grass, feet still planted; she flows back up in one continuous rise, arms opening wider and wider until they are spread fully, palms out, face lifted, swaying to the end. End state: standing centre frame, arms wide open, palms out, hair and dress moving in the wind.
[CAMERA — RULES FOR ALL SHOTS] Exactly five shots, changed only by hard cuts at 3.4, 7.3, 11.2 and 15.1 seconds. Inside a shot the camera never moves: no push-in, no zoom, no pan, no tilt, no handheld shake. No extra cuts. In the wide shots her whole body, head to bare feet, stays inside the frame.
[AUDIO] No music. <Gusting wind across the moor> <chiffon fabric rustling and fluttering> <soft bare feet on dry grass> <her breathing>.
[MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY] Exactly one woman. Same face, same red dress, same hair in every shot. One location, same sky, same light, wind always from frame left. The dance continues across each cut without restarting. She stays on her feet on the same spot: no crouching, no kneeling, no going down to the ground. Continuous flowing motion only: no frozen poses, no sudden jerks, no jumps, no speed-ups.
Add the song
The prompt has no music on purpose. Put the video in your editor and place the song under it so the video starts at 0:42 of the track. At that point the song has three hits before the chorus, and the chorus starts about 3.4 seconds into the video.
The cuts in the prompt are timed to the song at 123 beats per minute: one move per bar, a new shot every two bars. In our video the cuts came out at 3.6, 7.0, 11.6 and 15.2 seconds, close enough to land on the music. If one is off, trim that shot a few frames in the editor.
Why this prompt works
Each move gets about two seconds, one bar of the song. Our first version had five slow moves, and she looked like she was drifting. With fifteen fast poses she snapped from one to the next. Around ten moves of two seconds sits in the middle.
The camera does not move inside a shot. Every shot is still, and only the cuts change the angle. In our first try the framing jumped around, and the hills and the sky changed behind her.
The place is written down once, in its own block. Same grass, same rocks, same sky, same wind from the left. That keeps all five shots in one location.
She never goes down to the ground. In an earlier try she dropped to the grass and jumped back up, and it looked like a glitch. The prompt now asks for a deep bend with her feet in place.
Where it goes wrong
| What you got | The fix |
|---|---|
| She snaps from pose to pose | Do not add a picture of the poses. Keep “each around two seconds, blending straight into the next with no pauses” |
| She looks slow and floaty | Change “lively but unhurried” to “energetic but fluid” |
| The background changes between shots | Keep “Every shot is the same place at the same moment” and “Inside a shot the camera never moves” |
| She falls or kneels on the grass | Keep “no crouching, no kneeling, no going down to the ground” |
| The face changes in the close-up | Change Shot 4 to “medium close-up from the chest up” |
| The cuts miss the beat | Trim each shot in the editor so the cuts sit at 3.4, 7.3, 11.2 and 15.1 seconds |
| It feels too choppy | Remove Shot 4 and let Shot 3 run until 15.1 seconds |
