You sit cross-legged on a rug in a quiet green room. In front of you stands a four-year-old girl with your eyes, your freckles and your hair. She asks if you survived it. You say yes.

Then she asks if you are happy, and that is the line that gets people. Nine short lines later she is in your arms.

It is 30 seconds long and has no music. It works because it is slow. Nobody cries for the first fifteen seconds, and then both of you do. This page gives you three prompts: one for your own character sheet, one for the little-you sheet and one for the film.

The whole process

  1. Take one clear photo of yourself: face, hair and the outfit you want in the film.
  2. Make a character sheet of you and a sheet of little you with the two image prompts below.
  3. Open ImagineArt, go to video and pick Seedance 2.5 in references mode.
  4. Add your sheet first, the little-you sheet second.
  5. Set 30 seconds and 9:16. Paste the video prompt and generate.

Make your character sheet

The film cuts between close-ups of your face and a wide shot from the side. One selfie only shows the model your front. A sheet shows it your side too.

Add your photo to Nano Banana Pro in ImagineArt+200 free credits, set 16:9 and paste this prompt. Change the words in [brackets] to match your photo, and list anything you want gone, like a bag or sunglasses.

Your character sheet: one reference photo, 16:9

Create a high-fidelity photographic character reference sheet of the exact same woman from the reference image — identical face, eyes, freckles, skin tone, and hair ([your hair colour and style]). Same outfit: [your outfit]. REMOVE [anything you want gone, e.g. the bag, the strap across the chest] — her outfit is fully visible and clean.

Layout: a clean three-panel editorial sheet on a seamless warm-beige studio background. Left: a large front-facing head-and-shoulders portrait. Centre: a head-to-toe front view, hands relaxed and visible. Right: a head-to-toe side profile view facing left. Soft window light, gentle warm expression, mouth closed.

Photographic rendering throughout. No text, no labels, no extra people.

Your photo is the only reference. Describe your hair and outfit in the brackets.

A three panel character sheet of a woman with green eyes, freckles and long hair that is dark wine red at the roots and bright copper orange at the ends, worn in a loose braid. She wears a forest green knit sweater, cream wide leg jeans, white sneakers and a thin gold coin necklace. Left a close portrait, centre a full body front view, right a full body side profile.
@Image1 Your sheet: big portrait, front and side, no bag
02

Make the little-you sheet

Use the same photo of you as the reference and paste the next prompt. Change the age, dress and hair in [brackets] if you want.

Little-you sheet: one reference photo, 16:9

Create a high-fidelity photographic character reference sheet of the same person as a [4]-year-old girl. The reference image is the adult identity: keep her eye shape and colour, brow shape, freckles, skin tone, hair colour and the natural proportions of her face, translated believably into a toddler’s face — round cheeks, small nose, baby-soft skin. She must read instantly as the younger version of the adult.

Wardrobe: [white smocked cotton dress with puff sleeves], barefoot. Hair: [natural hair colour, no dyed roots, in a small loose braid over one shoulder]. Hands: tiny chubby toddler hands with short, natural, bare nails — no polish.

Layout: a clean three-panel editorial sheet on a seamless warm-beige studio background. Left: a large front-facing head-and-shoulders portrait. Centre: a head-to-toe front view. Right: a head-to-toe side profile view. Soft window light, gentle expression, mouth closed.

Photographic rendering throughout. No text, no labels, no extra people, no accessories.

The reference is the adult you. The model turns her into a child.

A three panel character sheet of a four year old girl with bright copper red hair in a loose braid, green eyes and freckles, in a white smocked cotton dress with puff sleeves, barefoot. Left a close portrait, centre a full body front view, right a full body side profile.
@Image2 Little you: four years old, same eyes, same freckles

Check the likeness before you move on. If the child does not look like you at first glance, make the sheet again. The film can only be as convincing as this picture.

If your hair is dyed, ask for your natural colour here. A toddler with dark roots looks wrong.

Set it up and generate

Open ImagineArt+200 free credits, go to video and pick Seedance 2.5. Add your sheet first and the little-you sheet second. Set 30 seconds and 9:16.

Paste the prompt and change the [brackets] in the Characters block to your hair and outfit. The lines and the shots stay as they are.

Meet your younger self: Seedance 2.5, 30 seconds

Style: Photorealistic cinematic film — no 3D render, no game engine. Intimate, emotional, quiet. Minimalist luxury aesthetic. Lighting: One consistent light setup across every shot — bright, clear, beautiful natural daylight (late morning, soft overcast-bright sky) pouring through sheer white linen curtains and a tall floor-to-ceiling window, the same direction, color and intensity in every cut. Neutral-to-slightly-warm daylight white balance, NOT golden hour, no orange cast. LITTLE ME’s shots are backlit by the bright window — a clean luminous rim light on her hair, airy glow. ADULT ME’s shots are lit softly from the front by the same window light, against a smooth sage-green wall, with gentle falloff. Soft, diffused, fresh and airy, never harsh, never dim. No artificial lighting. No change in light or color temperature between shots. Look: Large-format digital cinema camera, 85mm and 100mm lenses, very shallow depth of field, creamy bokeh, gentle highlight roll-off, subtle fine film grain, natural true-to-life skin tones. Palette of soft greens — sage, eucalyptus, pale olive and muted moss — with white linen and pale oak. Camera: Subtle handheld, slow and intimate, never CGI-smooth. 180° shutter motion blur. Skin: Pore-level realism — real tears, wet lashes, flushed cheeks, baby-soft skin on the child. Acting: Natural, deeply emotional but restrained — micro-pauses, trembling lips, glistening eyes, real breathing. Tears roll slowly. No exaggerated crying. Emotional arc (important): The emotion builds gradually. Shots 1–6: ADULT ME has no tears — composed, smiling, at most a light gloss in her eyes after she laughs. Shot 7: when ADULT ME places her hand on top of LITTLE ME’s tiny hand on her cheek, her first tear falls, and she cries softly through her line. Shot 8: LITTLE ME is already crying, tears on her cheeks. Shot 9: ADULT ME wipes her eye, then asks her question. Shot 10: LITTLE ME, a little teary, smiles. Shot 11: a very happy hug. Continuity: Same faces, outfits, hair, room, decor, light and color grade across all cuts. The house looks identical in every shot. No identity drift. Technical: Vertical 9:16. 24fps. 8K detail. No jitter. Audio: Generate audio. All dialogue is in English. Characters speak ONLY the exact words inside the quotation marks — never speak labels, character names, language names or any other words. Each line is lip-synced to its speaker. Quiet room ambience. No music. No subtitles.

References: @Image1 is ADULT ME, an adult woman, shown front and in side profile — match her face, hair and outfit exactly from both angles. @Image2 is LITTLE ME, the same person as a [4]-year-old girl — match her face, hair and outfit exactly; she must clearly look like a younger version of ADULT ME.

Characters: ADULT ME (@Image1) — adult woman, [your hair colour and style], exactly as @Image1. [Your outfit]. Short natural nails, clearly visible whenever her hands are in frame. Gentle, warm, emotional. Voice (AI-generated, identical in every shot): warm, soft adult female voice, slightly husky with emotion. LITTLE ME (@Image2) — about [4] years old, [her hair], [white smocked cotton dress with puff sleeves], barefoot. Tiny chubby toddler hands with short, natural, bare baby nails — no polish. Innocent, sincere, big shining eyes. Voice (AI-generated, identical in every shot): tiny, soft, sweet [4]-year-old girl voice, slow and gentle.

Scene: A minimalist luxury home — calm, airy and uncluttered. Smooth sage-green limewash plaster walls, pale light oak floor, a large soft pale-sage bouclé rug, one or two leafy green plants (an olive tree in a stone pot) near the window, a tall floor-to-ceiling window with flowing sheer white linen curtains. Almost no objects: clean lines, quiet negative space, everything in soft tones of sage, eucalyptus, pale olive and white. High-end, serene, editorial. ADULT ME sits cross-legged on the sage rug; LITTLE ME stands barefoot in front of her, so their faces are almost at the same height, very close, facing each other. The glowing window and curtains are behind LITTLE ME; the smooth sage-green wall is behind ADULT ME.

Shot 1 [0-3s] — Wide, side profile, 50mm, static, low camera at floor level: The minimalist sage-green room in bright, beautiful daylight. ADULT ME (seen in side profile, matching the side view in @Image1) sits cross-legged on the sage rug, frame-left, facing LITTLE ME, who stands barefoot in front of her, frame-right, backlit by the tall window, sheer curtains glowing, long soft shadows stretching across the rug toward camera. LITTLE ME looks down shyly, then slowly up at ADULT ME. ADULT ME tilts her head softly. Silence, only room tone.

Shot 2 [3-5s] — Close-up on LITTLE ME, 100mm, over ADULT ME’s shoulder, ADULT ME’s hair soft-focus in the foreground, LITTLE ME’s hair rim-lit by the window, glowing sheer curtains behind her: She studies ADULT ME’s face with gentle concern, brows slightly raised, head tilted. Eyes dry. She asks softly: “Did we survive it?”

Shot 3 [5-7s] — Close-up on ADULT ME, 100mm, soft window light on her face, smooth sage-green wall behind: Composed, no tears. A calm, reassuring smile and one slow, certain nod. ADULT ME says: “Yes, we did.”

Shot 4 [7-9s] — Close-up on LITTLE ME, 100mm, curtains glowing behind: Relief, then a small, sweet, hopeful smile — just a little smile, sincere. Eyes dry. She asks: “Are you happy?”

Shot 5 [9-12s] — Close-up on ADULT ME, 100mm, sage-green wall behind: She laughs a little — a soft, short, breathy laugh, caught off guard by the question — then answers honestly, still smiling. No tears, just a slight gloss in her eyes. ADULT ME says: “Still working on it.”

Shot 6 [12-16s] — Medium close-up on LITTLE ME, 85mm, backlit by the window: She nods firmly, firm but sweet — she truly means it — while reaching her tiny toddler hand (short bare baby nails) up toward ADULT ME’s face. Her small hand gently touches ADULT ME’s cheek, and as she touches it, she says with total certainty: “I know you will be!”

Shot 7 [16-19s] — Extreme close-up on ADULT ME, 100mm, sage-green wall behind: The child’s tiny hand, with short bare baby nails, rests on her cheek. ADULT ME places her own adult hand on top of it and holds it against her face. At that moment her first tear falls and rolls down her cheek, lips trembling, crying softly. ADULT ME says through tears: “I think about you often.”

Shot 8 [19-21s] — Close-up on LITTLE ME, 100mm, curtains glowing behind: She is already crying — tears on her cheeks, wet lashes, lips trembling, innocent and sincere. She says: “I think about you every day.”

Shot 9 [21-24s] — Extreme close-up on ADULT ME, 100mm, sage-green wall behind: Tear tracks on her cheek. With her free hand she gently wipes her eye with her fingertip. A small breath to gather herself, then, vulnerable and almost afraid of the answer, ADULT ME says in a small voice: “Am I what you expected?”

Shot 10 [24-27s] — Close-up on LITTLE ME, 100mm, curtains glowing behind: A little teary, eyes glistening, a warm smile breaks through; she shakes her head gently. She says: “No… you’re better.”

Shot 11 [27-30s] — Over-the-shoulder from behind ADULT ME, 85mm, slow push-in, the glowing window and sheer curtains behind them: LITTLE ME happily throws her arms around ADULT ME’s neck in a tight, joyful hug, beaming. ADULT ME’s face turns into her, eyes closed, smiling through tears, her hand on the little girl’s back. Bright daylight blooms softly across them. Hold.

Your sheet is @Image1, little you is @Image2. Set 30 seconds and 9:16.

Why this prompt works

One light for every shot. The same window, the same direction, the same colour in all eleven cuts. Without that the close-ups look like they were shot on different days.

The child is lit from behind, you from the front. She glows against the curtains and you sit against a calm wall, so every cut tells you who is speaking before anyone says a word.

Words only inside quotes. The audio line says to speak only what is in the quotation marks. Without it the model sometimes reads out “ADULT ME” or “Shot 3”.

Short lines. Every line fits in two or three seconds. Long sentences get cut off or rushed.

No music. Silence and breathing make the lines land. If you want a song, add it later in your editor.
