It is night, around 2010. A young woman sits at an old computer in her room. Suddenly the doorway behind her fills with white light. An older woman runs in. It is her, fifteen years later. She shouts one tip about Bitcoin, runs back out, and the light goes off. The young one stays in her chair and asks the empty room what just happened.

The video is 20 seconds long, with real dialogue and no music. You need three images and one video prompt. This page gives you all four prompts, word for word.

The whole process

  1. Make a young character sheet from one photo of yourself.
  2. Make an older character sheet from the same photo.
  3. Make the room image, with the young you at the desk.
  4. Open OpenArt, go to video and pick Seedance 2.5.
  5. Add the images in this order: young sheet, older sheet, room.
  6. Set 20 seconds, paste the video prompt and press Generate.

Make the young character sheet

Upload one clear photo of your face. This prompt makes you about twenty, in home clothes, with your hair in a messy bun. Use the same photo again in step 2.

A character sheet of a young woman in her early twenties with dark red to copper hair in a messy bun and green eyes. Front close-up, side profile and a full body view in a grey oversized t-shirt and dark lounge trousers, barefoot, on a white background.
@Image 1 The young sheet: front, profile and full body at home
Young character sheet prompt

Compile one character reference sheet, T-cut layout, clean white studio backdrop.

Identity: face, eye colour, freckles and hair colour exactly the same as in the reference image. Do not alter the facial structure. Render her as a younger version of herself, early twenties — fuller cheeks, smoother skin, no fine lines.

Top left — front-facing close-up of the face, cropped at the shoulders. Bottom left — side-profile close-up of the face, cropped at the shoulders. Right tall panel — full body, standing front view. Worn grey cotton home t-shirt, slightly oversized, soft dark lounge trousers. Hair pulled up into a loose messy bun, a few strands falling out. Bare face, no makeup.

Identical face, hair colour and styling across all three panels. Photographic, not rendered: visible pores and skin texture, individual hair strands, natural catchlight in the eyes. Even soft studio light, no colour grade.

Upload one clear photo of your face.

Check the sheet. The face must still look like you, just younger.

02

Make the older character sheet

Upload the same photo. This prompt makes you about fifteen years older, in a black leather jacket, with your hair loose. The different clothes and hair help the model keep the two women apart in the video.

A character sheet of the same woman about fifteen years older, with long loose dark red to copper hair. Front close-up, side profile and a full body view in a black leather biker jacket, a dark top, dark jeans and black boots, on a white background.
@Image 2 The older sheet: same face, fifteen years later
Older character sheet prompt

Compile one character reference sheet, T-cut layout, clean white studio backdrop.

Identity: face, eye colour, freckles and hair colour exactly the same as in the reference image. Do not alter the facial structure. Render her roughly fifteen years older — sharper cheekbones, faint lines at the eyes and mouth, a slightly leaner face. Still unmistakably the same woman.

Top left — front-facing close-up of the face, cropped at the shoulders. Bottom left — side-profile close-up of the face, cropped at the shoulders. Right tall panel — full body, standing front view. Black leather biker jacket over a plain dark top, dark jeans, boots. Hair worn loose and slightly windblown, falling past the shoulders.

Identical face, hair colour and styling across all three panels. Photographic, not rendered: visible pores and skin texture, individual hair strands, natural catchlight in the eyes. Even soft studio light, no colour grade.

Use the same photo as in step 1.

Put the two sheets side by side. They must look like the same person. If they do not, make the older sheet again.

03

Make the room image

The third image is the place: a small room at night, around 2010, with an old computer. Upload the young character sheet from step 1 as the reference. She sits at the desk in this image, and the video prompt knows that. It tells the model not to draw a second copy of her.

The layout matters. The desk is on the right, the doorway is on the left behind her, and the floor between them is empty. The older her runs along this path two times.

A young woman with a messy red bun and a grey t-shirt sits at a wooden desk at night, lit by an old beige computer monitor. Behind her on the left is an open doorway to a warmly lit room. A window with curtains and blue night light is on the right.
@Image 3 The room: desk on the right, doorway on the left behind her
Room image prompt

One photographic film still of a small, lived-in room at night, around the year 2010. Vertical 9:16.

Character: the young woman from the reference image, and only her. Use only her face, freckles, hair colour and clothing from that image: worn grey oversized cotton t-shirt, soft dark lounge trousers, hair in a loose messy bun with a few strands falling out, no makeup. Do not use its white background or sheet layout.

She sits on a plain wooden chair at a worn wooden desk, turned three-quarters toward the right side of the frame, facing an old beige desktop computer with a bulky monitor. Her right hand rests on a wired mouse, her left near a beige keyboard. Her face is in soft profile, lit by the screen. Calm, a faint smile, unaware.

Layout: the desk and computer are on the right. On the desk, behind the monitor: a small lamp, a cream mug, a cup of pencils, loose papers and a few cables. The doorway is on the left, behind her: an open doorway in a dark wooden frame, the door pushed back out of sight, showing a warmly lit next room beyond. A window with heavy curtains in the upper right, cold blue night outside. The floor between the doorway and her chair is completely clear.

Light and look: the amber lamp and monitor glow are the main warm light; cold blue window light is the secondary field; warm spill through the doorway from the next room; dark olive-brown shadows that keep detail. Night Tungsten grade, ARRI Alexa 35 look, Cooke lens softness, background slightly soft, fine organic grain.

Photographic, not rendered. Exactly one person. No readable text on the screen or walls, no logos, no brand names, no watermark.

Upload the young character sheet as the reference.

Check the image. You need to see the doorway, the desk, the computer and the window. If the doorway is on the wrong side, make it again.

04

Set up the video

Open OpenArt, go to video and pick Seedance 2.5. Add the images in this order:

  1. The young character sheet. This is @Image 1.
  2. The older character sheet. This is @Image 2.
  3. The room. This is @Image 3.

The prompt uses these numbers, so the order matters. Set the length to 20 seconds. The prompt is written second by second for exactly 20 seconds.

If OpenArt gives each image its own tag when you upload it, put those tags in the prompt in place of @Image 1, @Image 2 and @Image 3. Change nothing else.

05

Paste the prompt and generate

Copy the whole prompt with the copy button. Do not shorten it. The words in curly brackets are the lines they say. You can change them, but keep them short. Each line has only a few seconds.

Future self prompt: Seedance 2.5, 20 seconds

[LOOK — LOCKED, APPLIES TO EVERY SHOT] ARRI Alexa 35, Cooke S4/i primes, T2.0 — warm skin rendering, creamy bokeh, background falls away one metre behind the subject, fine organic grain, gentle highlight roll-off, deep neutral shadows that keep detail. Night Tungsten grade: amber lamp and monitor glow as the hero tone, cold blue window light as the secondary field, warm hallway spill through the doorway, dark olive-brown shadow bias. Handheld with micro-drift, never locked off, reactive reframing that overshoots slightly on fast movement. Naturalistic comedic performance, real dialogue sync, no music.

[Characters] <Young> corresponds to @Image 1. Use only her face, hairstyle and clothing, exactly the same as in that reference image. Do not use its background or sheet layout. <Older> corresponds to @Image 2. Use only her face, hairstyle and clothing, exactly the same as in that reference image. Do not use its background or sheet layout. <Young> and <Older> are one person at two different ages — same facial structure, eye colour, freckles and hair colour, separated only by age. Never swap their hairstyles, clothing, ages, positions or lines; each keeps exactly what her own reference image shows. Exactly two people are in the scene and never more.

[Scene] <Room> references @Image 3. Use only its spatial layout, furniture, desk, old desktop computer, doorway, window, lighting and colour grade. The woman visible in @Image 3 is <Young> herself — do not render a second copy of her from this image. Do not treat its framing as a fixed composition: every shot below is a new camera position inside that same room.

[Generation Goal] A 20-second single-location comedy scene. All dialogue is spoken in natural American English. <Older> arrives through the doorway in a panic, warns <Young>, runs back out the same doorway, and leaves <Young> alone and stunned.

0-3 s | Medium shot from <Young>‘s left, her face in profile against the monitor. She works calmly, right hand on the mouse, faintly smiling, unaware. The camera drifts slowly. At 2 seconds the empty doorway behind her floods with a hard surge of white light that snaps on in an instant, throwing her shadow across the desk. She does not turn yet. <Keyboard and mouse clicks> <A low electrical surge swells and cuts out>

3-5 s | Low-angle wide on the doorway from across the room, the hallway blown out white behind it. <Older> slams through at a full run and stops dead, chest heaving, hair thrown forward, eyes wide, brows high and pulled together. The camera whips to catch her and overshoots slightly. <Older> shouts in fast, breathless, genuinely panicked English, tumbling out on one breath: {I have only 10 seconds!} <The door bangs against the wall> <Heavy footsteps stopping hard>

5-10 s | Medium two-shot from behind the monitor looking back at both women, <Young> seated on the left, <Older> crashing in from the right. <Older> grabs the back of the chair with one hand, throws her other arm out to point at the screen, and leans across <Young>. The camera pushes in slowly. Her breathing is ragged between words and her pointing hand shakes. <Older> shouts in urgent, commanding, panicked English: {You need to buy a Bitcoin, and don’t sell it until 2025.} <Young> jerks back in the chair, mouth opening, and gets nothing out.

10-13 s | Tight close-up over <Young>‘s shoulder onto <Older>‘s face, lit hard from below by the monitor. <Older> drops to <Young>‘s eye level, locks eye contact, and holds one index finger up between them. The camera stays still. Her eyes are wide and unblinking, her jaw tight, each word landed separately. <Older> says it slowly, loudly and deadly seriously in English: {DO NOT TRY TO DO IT EARLIER!!!} Then she stops talking and the room goes silent for a beat.

13-16 s | Wide shot from behind <Young>, the doorway deep in frame on the left. <Older> shoves off the chair, turns and sprints back out through the same doorway without looking back. The camera holds. The instant she clears the doorframe the white light behind it dies out, the door swings shut, and the room drops back to its lamp and monitor glow. <Running footsteps receding> <A door slams> <Sudden silence>

16-20 s | Medium shot on <Young> from her left, pushing in slowly to a close-up of her face. She sits completely still, staring at the closed door, eyes wide, mouth half open, one hand still on the mouse. She blinks twice, turns her head slowly back toward the monitor and speaks flatly to nobody. <Young> says it quietly, stunned and deadpan in English: {What the hell was that?} The camera settles and holds. <Room tone> <The chair creaks>

[Maintain Consistency] Keep both women’s faces, ages, hairstyles and clothing consistent in every shot. Keep the desk and computer on the right and the doorway on the left behind <Young> from her seated orientation. <Young> stays in the chair the whole scene and never stands. <Older> never sits. The doorway light is on only from the moment it surges until <Older> clears the doorframe.

NO MUSIC, only SFX and ambient sounds. No texts or subtitles on screen. Neither woman ever looks into the camera lens.

Young sheet is @Image 1, older sheet is @Image 2, room is @Image 3. Set 20 seconds.

Why this prompt works

Each woman has her own name. The prompt calls them Young and Older, not “she”. So the model always knows who shouts, who points and who sits.

Each woman has her own look. Messy bun and a grey t-shirt for one. Loose hair and a leather jacket for the other. Even in a fast shot, you can tell them apart.

The light marks the time travel. The doorway goes white when she arrives and goes dark the moment she leaves. No special effect is needed. The light tells the story.

Every line has a time and a tone. The prompt says when each line starts and how it sounds: breathless, commanding, deadly serious, deadpan. That is what makes the comedy land.

The ending is quiet. After all the shouting, the last line is flat and slow. The contrast is the joke.
